Information

Answer
On average, students enrolled in the Associate Degree in nursing program complete the degree in approximately 2-3 years. The amount of time a student spends working on their degree is depends on several factors.  Students who transfer more credit or have more time to dedicate to their studies will most likely fulfill the degree requirements at a faster pace.

All students, however, must complete the degree within 7 years of cumulative enrollment. Once you've completed the commitment to enroll process with Excelsior College, please contact your academic advisor for assistance with planning your program. Your academic advisor will work with you to establish a program plan, inform you of the available resources to help you succeed, and work with you to determine a reasonable goal for program completion.
